We had an amazing stay at Finca Curbelo - the apartment was beautiful and well equipped and the pool area was gorgeous. Katharina was super friendly and helpful! Uga is a lovely sleepy town with a shop and a few restaurants, and well located to use as a base to explore the island

Nice house in a quiet street, calm surroundings. Bus stop 10 minutes away, small supermarket 8 minutes. Beautiful garden, absolutely clean inside, I enjoyed my stay very much!

Stunning views. Beautiful, extraordinary environment in the middle of the vineyard. The Silence was awesome. Far far away from all the tourist hussle. Well appointed and quite big bedrooms with comfy beds. Kitchen had all we needed. Bathrooms were basic / quaint but worked well - once the hot water issue was resolved by the owner and his lovely parents, who responded to our questions very quickly and pleasantly.

It was one of our best travel experiences! You stay in the recently renovated farmhouse at unique location in the middle of wineyards. Total silience outside and full comfort inside. Great location to explore the volcanic region or just escape and chill. Everything that you need is within 15 minutes car ride. The hosts give you a swift assistance in case of questions.

the location is súper beautiful, well maintained and equipped with everything you could like on your trip to the island. the staff was extremely kind and very available to help out and give recommendations about the islands. staying at Finca Isolina includes a whole lot of benefits which are not listed when you book, like being provided with beach towels and other equipment for the beach, or some access to free soft drinks. the rooms, and everything else, was extremely clean (we are very picky with that) and we found out that room cleaning happens every day. the breakfast is absolutely top level, with a wide offering of mostly local products cooked deliciously. same applies to the other meals you can optionally have at the hotel which also are homemade and super recommended. the hotel is situated in a very strategic location, isolated from big urbanization (which makes your stay even more relaxing and your starry nights even more enjoyable) but super close to visit all interesting places in the island. all in all we would really recommend Finca Isolina to everyone and we are definitely planning to go back ourselves.

    Unfortunately we did not see anything of Uga as the property...

    Unfortunately we did not see anything of Uga as the property was unsuitable for use - filthy pool and very worn settee and unpleasant owner, even though when emailing he appears "charming and helpful" which we found to the contrary. We stayed one night and then left and the property we found at very short notice was superb. Hopefully we may stay another time in Uga but definitely not at this property.

    A very clean little village, pretty much new-build rather...

    A very clean little village, pretty much new-build rather than old. The downside was finding somewhere to eat, especially on a Monday in the winter months (seemingly). The mini mercado was our saving grace! The pizzeria/cafe opposite the church is very good and popular with the locals which has to be a good sign. Bodega di Santiago on the Uga side of Yaiza is fabulous but it’s expensive.

    Local people were kind and friendly.

    Local people were kind and friendly. Small village that kept a traditional atmosphere yet welcoming and safe feel. CASA TILAMA Numero 28 has it all. And that HANDMADE SOAP BUSINESS next door Complimented it well as it perfumed the area with those AROMATICS. While having your early morning coffee on that coffee bar. Travelling with a father on a wheelchair has made him feel more encouraged to come on my Next Business travel…. UGA is the PLACE for us… a perfect respite and access to Timanfaya and EL GOLFO. Casa TILAMA is your home in UGA.
