The breakfast was satisfying although I have had more choice at other hostels/hotels The location was perfect for travelling needs. Really enjoyed the old fashioned Finnish ambiance. Shower, although antique in design was one of the best power showers that I have ever had! Great café downstairs. To try their cakes is a must.

Hotel Yöpuu is in southern Kemi, next to European Route E8 and a 5-minute drive from the city centre. It offers international cuisine, free sauna access and free parking.

Everything was very clean, simple, but nice and cozy furnished. We had what we needed, breakfast was good, the personal was really polite and helpful. When we arrived at 20:30 h, it was possible to order a warm meal, which was great. There is a small restaurant and lounge with TV next to the reception. The hotel is small, approx. 4 km away from Kemi city centre (possible to walk), well situated on a bigger street, but nevertheless very calm with a big forrest behind the hotel. The hotel has also a sauna and a roof terrace where you can watch the stars and even the northern lights. The personal and hotel director are really engaged, although their English is not the best. We were quite satisfied. :)

Hotel Merihovi is situated in central Kemi, 500 metres from Kemi Station. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free parking, a sauna and rooms with cable TV. Kemi Art Museum is a 3-minute walk away.

Room was very clean and it was interesting to see in old hotel how it was renovated. Dinner in hotel restaurant was good and breakfast was very tasty. I ate like president Kekkonen. :) Staff was very friendly and kind.

Absolutely loved this accommodation and hosts - Pawan & Heli ❤️ The highlights are: very comfortable and spacious rooms, clean toilets and showers, good sauna (and it’s free) and fully-equipped kitchen and coffee machine! This is one of the best and most well-priced accommodations we’ve stayed in all of Scandinavia.
