Exactly as described onto the website Booking.com and with offered facilities to use the shared kitchen and dining room. Sitting room available as well. Garden in case you are not travelling during Winter time 😜 Excellent wifi for workers and one of the best possible bedding offered (so comfortable !) If you try you’ll wish for sure to come back! Great host discrete and flexible !👍 Good breakfast in self service for full autonomy. Free self parking in rather secured street place for your car. Really nice and private memorable stay! Congrats. A wonderful surprise. What an excellent mobile home with everything we wanted. Plenty of space, with lovely outdoor covered terrace containing plenty of usable furniture. Really nice, secure garden and parking area. Extremely clean and well stocked. Very quiet, on a lovely site with walks directly from the property ideal for dog walking. Audrey was extremely accommodating and even arranged an appointment with the local vets for the necessary treatment to bring our dog back to the UK. Ideal location to catch train or ferry. Could not fault anything and would certainly use again and recommend. Thanks Audrey.

The staff at this Auberge were extremely polite, helpful and courteous,nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was exceptional,this can be validated by the amount of visitors it had each day. Very peaceful surroundings, with a camping site next door to the Auberge.One small pointer that room 12 would be difficult for people with mobility problems,because of nuthe four steps leading to the WC and main bedroom, other than that a lovely Auberge to rest and enjoy.

The location was great for getting to the Eurotunnel for an early start the next day. It was a countryside location and really lovely. The property was a great space for a one night stay for us as a family. We were greeted by the owners, and they were very attentive. Everything you need kitchen wise and a great shared garden and pool for the children to play in. Really loved it.

    Beautiful little town and only a short distance from Calais. We live in Kent and it was a perfect place for a short trip without involving too much driving. Ardres is also the home to Boursot Vins which offers an excellent range of quality wines.

    The Gite was spacious with the garden going all the way down to the lake. Although there was a Piste for Boules, no balls were provided. There are many nice restaurants in Ardres which was only about one kilometre away.

    A lovely old village with plenty of places to eat regardless of budget, lots of character, great as a base to explore the Calais / Nord area and convenient for the port & tunnel. The lake area and nature reserve are wonderful and very peaceful. As regular cross channel travellers this was a new stopover place for us, but we will definitely be staying again and happily recommend it to others looking fir peace and quiet.

    Ardres is a small and typical french town, I didn't spend much time there but it has a good selection of traditional shops and a handy large supermarket. It's probably worth spending more time there to get to know it better and do it justice.

    I wanted to stay close to Calais but not in the town. This was perfect. I would definitely go again to this charming village and to La Bonne Auberge. Very good value and very convenient. I had a lovely short stay.

    Plenty of opportunities to see and do things.

    Plenty of opportunities to see and do things. Close to Calais but not too close. Found lovely restaurant in Houlle, Au Rallye restaurant. Close to Blockhaus (World war 2 boxer site)Epercules. Lots of places to go.

    Beautifully restored and presented Gite on the lake at Ardres. Photos in the house show how it has been totally renovated from a ramshackle property with a well designed, chic and rustic interior. The location is great for the ferry or Eurotunnel as well as the beaches and countryside of Nord Pas de Calais. Ardres is a pretty village with a few restaurants although we only ate at one due to a short stay.

    This is my second stay at La Bonne Auberge and I recommend this hotel. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent if you are transiting through Calais either way, near enough the port if you don't want to be in Calais itself. I would also recommend trying the hotel restaurant, it is classic french cooking at reasonable cost.
