I could see us staying in Beausoleil for a longer period in the future. The local markets are fantastic and we did lots of shopping there. We have been staying in Monaco for 15 years almost every year and in the Beausoleil side and have been very happy with the distance to places. Lots of stairs though if that's an issue. Beausoleil is within walking distance of the centre of Monaco and much more affordable than Monaco accommodation. There is a hop on, hop off bus but most things are within walking distance if you are of a reasonable fitness and you get a better feel of the place too. Staying in Beausoleil is a much more cost effective way of enjoying Monaco. The apartment sizes are generally bigger and you can stay in older traditional properties rather than apartment blocks. Beausoleil is just located on the French side and is a small nice little town, with Monaco at walking distance. This makes Beausoleil very attractive! It also has a nice small shopping area with cosy restaurants and a fresh market place. Public transportation is also well arranged.
