The hotel apartment is a 17th century attic loft space, beautifully preserved. The area was clean, comfortable and very large offering excellent value. The location of this accommodation is stunningly beautiful in the centre of a small traditional french village on a canal with accessible tow path. Located at the door step of the hotel is a wonderful restaurant serving high quality food locally and seasonally sourced. The hotel staff were friendly, most helpful and relaxed. Breakfast was plentiful including fresh coffee and homemade crepes. We plan to return as this was such a delightful find. Good stopping place if travelling through France, 4.5 hrs from Calias.

Beautiful building set in very well kept grounds, loved the abbey interior, comfortable sitting rooms for relaxing and lovely room with view of the lake. Would highly recommend.
