We just spent a wonderful two days at Château de Monsac in the Dordogne. It’s a beautifully restored historic building that has been renovated sympathetically by the hosts, over decades. Everywhere you look, says “labour of love” and we were impressed with so many little details. Fabienne and Frédéric are warm and attentive hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their service was intuitive and we appreciated their local knowledge and advice on exploring the Dordogne. We recommend having the breakfast which included fresh flaky pastries, homemade granola, jams and freshly squeezed orange juice. Our dog Maisy was made welcome and the Talbot room worked perfectly for us with its two outside terraces.

The location was exceptional, right within the medieval town. Marc, our host, gave us a warm welcome and very useful tips for dining and enyoing this beautiful French region. The property is right in front of a free public parking lot which is very appreciated if you travel by car. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely repeat and highly recommend this accommodation.

Namaste Cottage is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Hosts Magali & Olivier are incredibly thoughtful, the food is fantastic, pool divine & interior charming. Would have loved to stay on. Highly recommended.

Our host met with us and gave us a tour of the house. This place is a dream for a vacation with little children, as there is so much to keep them entertained, not in the least the amazing private pool! Well recommended!

Our stay here was fantastic. A really convenient location to Bergerac airport yet peaceful and quiet. The room was really large, comfortable and exceptionally clean. We had a beautiful contintental breakfast each morning and enjoyed the company of our hosts, who were so very friendly and offered lots of knowledge of the local areas. Mauricio spoke perfect English, which is great for anyone who needs to brush up on their French language skills.

    Down the end of a lane in the countryside, you need sat nav to find it! Béatrice was very charming and friendly, she recommended a local town for dinner and was spot on. We ate in a great restaurant, Nord Sud in Villereal - great food and lovely staff, even though we were rather late.
