Perfect stay. Lovely and nice hosts, stylish house, delicious and plentiful breakfast as if we were at home. My children asked me to write that they give 100 score for the garden. It is a pity that we only had one day booked. Merci beaucoup for everything!

If you love mixing with the other families over breakfast and practising your French then its a very relaxed and fun morning. The hosts are also very helpful and assist in finding things to do, places to visit and any local information or events. The accommodation was lovely. The surroundings idyllic and there is space to be on your own or meet others for a drink/chat in the evening.

My husband, our two dogs, and I arrived here as weary travelers from New York, carrying the bittersweet feeling of being untethered from our home and community as we begin a new life in a new country. What we found with Eric and Nathalie was not just a place to stay, but a true welcome into their warmth and generosity. From the moment we stepped inside and discovered the homemade tarts waiting for us, we knew this little home had been built with love. Every detail, every corner of the gîte, spoke of thoughtfulness, care, and the quiet beauty of country living. The kitchen held everything we needed, the rooms embraced us with comfort, and the spirit of the place made us feel settled in a way we hadn’t expected so soon after such a big move. Eric and Nathalie have a gift for hospitality that goes far beyond accommodation; they have created a place where you can feel both cared for and free to simply be. We came as guests and leave as friends, friends I know we’ll look forward to keeping in touch with. This gîte is a haven not only for travelers seeking rest, but also for anyone longing for peace, comfort, and the gentle magic of the French countryside. On the evening of arrival Vanessa and family served their dinner board and it was so delicious and as we thought we were done Vanessa served us homemade dessert. The breakfast exceeded all our expectation, Vanessa even makes her own yogurt, granola, jam, juice, pancakes, muffins - and the servings variated from day to day. We felt very welcome. The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. It was very easy to find and very close to the highway. We can only recommend you to stay at Le Haras d'Havetot and we will definitely be back !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at L'Anctovilliere, a beautiful landhouse that exceeded my expectations in every way. The two-room apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with a cozy bedroom featuring a shower. The pool was a lovely bonus, open to guests from 5-8 pm, although I must note that its depth of 2.20m might not be suitable for very young children. However, for families with older kids or adults, the pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Speaking of which, there are plenty of interesting places to visit within a 100km radius of Anctoville. Some highlights include: - The historic city of Rouen, with its stunning cathedral and medieval architecture ( approx. 70km) - The picturesque village of Honfleur, with its charming harbor and artistic heritage (approx. 90km) - The beautiful Normandy coast, with its stunning beaches and scenic views (approx. 80-100km) The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the landhouse was peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend L'Anctovilliere to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Normandy region. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at L'Anctovilliere and would definitely return in the future. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

    We stayed in the little outbuilding (a former bakery) converted into an apartment and it was one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip. Also the cheapest! The apartment was comfortable and very well appointed, nice bed (you do have to climb stairs to get up to it), and good wifi. Quiet out in the country, apart from the peacock at the farm/hotel across the street! Breakfast was pretty standard French pastries/bread/jam, but there was fresh squeezed orange juice which was great.
