The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was excellent, the bed was wonderful, the aircon easy to use, the lady on reception in the evening and on breakfast in the morning was charming and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. Perfect.

The hostel/hotel is located in a breathtakingly beautiful place, also serving as a starting point for many hiking routes. Mostly, people drive there, leave their car at the nearby parking, and go for day walks. I walked there and back to the coast, and if someone wants to do the same, I'd recommend not to do more than 10 km per day on that landscape :) It's much nicer to take it slowly and enjoy the nature. The bunk beds are located in the cottage houses and the shower and toilet are in a separate cottage. Everything is rather ascetic, but clean and comfortable for the hiker needs. The showers had nice hot water, which was always not the case in some much more expensive places I stayed in Corsica. There is a restaurant with a nice and homey service, good food, and Corsican wine, but they don't have card payment, so have some cash with you. There are cute dogs running around the restaurant area, birds singing and a mountain river sound always in the background, and the general feeling is truly cozy.
