The size of the town and its citadel. The look and feel of the place with its fantastic beaches of white sand and turquoise waters and the passerelle between the sea and the forest . Ease of accessibility on foot, by train to Ile Rousse and the beautiful beaches en route, proximity by boat or by organised excursions to discover spectacular landscapes around and over Calvi. Calvi’s an ideal place to just hang out, cafe and resto hop, go to the beach or walk the lovely lanes. It’s also an excellent base to have a rental car to venture further out across the mountains and along the coast, each with their own dramatic and wild and rugged landscapes. Calvi is absolutely incredible, beautiful views sea and mountains together crystal waters, great food, people so helpful would definitely go back. So far in Corsica we have been to bastia, sant florent and calvi and calvi is our favourite.out of the three.
