Location was fine, just on the edge of the village which was nice. Breakfast was excellent, lots of different options available and plenty of each. Hostess, Christelle, was very friendly and welcoming and also helped me with my far from perfect attempts to speak French! Would definitely stay again if in this area.

Our stay at Le pigonnier was wonderful. We used it as an overnight stop driving from the south of France to Epernay - our only mistake was not staying longer! Our host at La Pigionnier was really lovely & welcoming. The breakfast was amazing & the accommodation very clean & well decorated & maintained. It is extra special to stay somewhere where the hosts so clearly want to look after their guests and are proud of making sure everything at the accommodation is perfect. We hope to return next year and use this as our base to visit some more chateaus in the Loire Valley. Our cheapest but best accommodation by far during our 2 week tour of France. Highly recommended. Only thing to note is that dinner at La Pigionnier is only available on the weekends- but plenty of local options.

The location was even more beautiful than on the pictures :) very quiet and private, beautiful garden and very friendly owners. Also, it was really easy to parc the car at a safe space 1 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was fresh with very good croissants :)

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the accommodation, which is full of character and in a glorious, peaceful setting. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating and the bed was extremelly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too.

The restuarant is way above the modest hotel, excellent chef, imaginative menu and seasonal doors. Good breakfast with the usual continental fare, augmented by fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious coffee. Very hospitable atmosphere, accommodating, friendly staff.     A beautiful hotel with an artistic facade in a charming little town. The room was brand new and modern, very clean and comfortable. The host lady is very friendly and gave us wonderful breakfast with fresh pastries from the local bakery. It was such a relaxing stay and each morning we wake up with only birds singing.

    The high standard of the room with quality fittings super clean designer bathroom all looked like a showroom comfortable large bed better than a hotel . Host charming...looked after us exceptionally well at breakfast ,extra chocolate drinks and a chat. Excellent value.
