Spacious room with many useful extras (e.g. steam ironing unit). We came with a dog and the room was prepared with a dog mat with eating and drinking bowls. The restaurant is superb as is the breakfast.

Really excellent small hotel run by two Dutchmen who speak 4 languages. And who take pride in cooking several plats du jour. Also much better breakfast than you usually get in France. They have refurnished the hotel with good taste, style, panache and unfailing good humour. Sadly they see very few English so come on chaps and make the detour. Our Basset Hound also enjoyed their stay.

The hosts were charming and helpful. Le Presbytere has been lovingly restored and is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Laurence offers a tasty dinner and traditional French breakfast, including delicious home made jams. It's certainly worth eating here, both for the quality of the food and there is nowhere else convenient - to be honest once you're here and settled in with a pre dinner drink, you wouldn't want to go out to eat. We would love to stay again on another holiday.

The place was wonderful! Even though we saw pictures before, we were amazed with the whole place and its conveniences! Parking there was super easy and closeness of the bakery, some restaurants and shops was very convenient.

A lovely house full of character, with partial use of top floor. It is in the middle of the countryside yet only 10-15mins drive from Laon. The drive through the small towns was lovely, having the opportunity to see the quaint architecture. Hosts were warm and friendly. We just stayed the one night. The double bed was sooo comfortable. They were happy to give recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast was divine and plentiful. This is a lovely place I would come back.

The accommodation was lovely and Aurora made us feel very welcome. It was in a lovely location and we really enjoyed our stay. We even had the house to ourselves over the weekend. We would stay again without hesitation. Thank you Aurora.

    We love the Chateau de Clermont and have stayed here three times now. Lovely family atmosphere, a bit eccentric and lots of charm. Don't expect hotel-style management - this is a family home and feels like it, with dogs and cats at large. It's great having the pool to take a swim after a day's driving, and this is a great location for the journey back to Calais.

    The breakfast was of traditional French type, with sublime fresh bread and pastries. The hotel had so much charm and character. We loved the open kitchen and the relaxed welcoming atmosphere, and sitting on the terrace for a delicious evening meal overlooking the beautiful garden with golden fields beyond was great. The hosts were very welcoming.

    Authentic chateau experience. Living as in a home not a hotel. Excellent dinner with homemade good food made with local produce. Communal long dining table which encourages conversation with other guests.
