    The property is beautiful overall.

    The property is beautiful overall. Room was just the right size with lovely decor and a nice bathroom. Location good for WW2 Landing Beaches. Restaurant had delicious food. Staff were professional and exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

    I loved the situation, peaceful.

    I loved the situation, peaceful. The accommodation was excellent, bathrooms functioning brilliantly, beds really comfortable. Outside furniture outside our room and in the garden. Very relaxing. Great atmosphere. Owner so helpful, chatty, nothing too much trouble. We went to the Landing Beaches, very accessible.

    We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a fabulous building...

    We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a fabulous building and there was some great places locally to visit. The breakfast was good, but thought it was quite expensive at €16 each. We did have an issue with one of the bar staff who got very rude with us. We were just finishing our drinks and were told to leave the bar just before 11 and she turn the lights out whilst we were in there, which I don’t think it’s very professional.

    Excellent hotel in the heart of the British and Canadian...

    Excellent hotel in the heart of the British and Canadian areas of the D-Day landings. Set in a small village in beautiful surroundings, the hotel is very peaceful. It has a wide variety of accommodation within the hotel plus the proprietor owns other holiday accommodation nearby. Own transport is best (there is plenty of free parking) as public transport in the village is limited. All the D-Day beaches, including the two American beaches, are easily accessible as are the towns of Bayeaux and Caen.

    An interesting village on the D Day route, with a memorial to the Green Howards in the village together with information boards about the Landings set throughout the village. It had easy access to both the Beaches and to Bayeux.

    Manoir de Mathan , was the perfect setting for a wonderful holiday. It was such a special place to use as a base in the delightful village of Crepon. It's perfect for anyone wanting to visit the d day sites and explore the area by car or to take advantage of the amazing trails by bike. Isabelle is very hands on and pleasantly tolerant of our inability to grasp the language.

    The hotel setting is lovely; like being in a park. Staff were fabulous and the room was spacious, as was the ensuite. Parking was easy. We were given a list of restaurants to try - we headed to the area near Juno Beach Courseulles-sur-Mer sur mer and had a lovely meal at Le Comptoir Crémaillère - which wasn’t on the list but it prob should be added to the list. 😊

    An absolute gem, a perfect stay at the start or end of your trip to France. About half an hour from the ferry port. Hotel room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was amazing. A good selection of rooms, some with self catering facilities.
