We had an amazing stay! The place is super quiet and beautifully restored – a perfect blend of old charm (exposed stone walls!) and modern elements like glass and metal. Everything is stylish and thoughtfully done. Our room for four was really spacious and pleasantly air-conditioned – which made for great sleep and kept the bugs away. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the pool was great with a nice temperature, and breakfast outside was just lovely: fresh orange juice, good coffee, and a tasty selection of local cheese and meats. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. A special highlight: the sweet dog, which our kids absolutely adored. All in all, a fantastic stay – we'd love to come back! The whole experience was exceptional. We had access to the lovely garden, where we were served an excellent coffee upon our arrival Later, during supper (again in the garden) our host surprised us with his home-made terrine de sanglier, which made a simple evening meal truly memorable. The whole setting (house & garden) is beautiful. We were welcomed like family. Breakfast consisted of beautifully presented bowls of fruit, fresh bread & home-made jams (all from fruit from the garden), an excellent 'quartre quarts', walnut biscuits and again great coffee. I recommend this experience whole-heartedly and without any reservations whatsoever. It is worth a serious detour.
