The owners did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Very good breakfast. Parking is just around the corner. Big room with great saunas and jacuzzi. Really thoughtfully decorated house just a short walk from city center.

The hotel is suitably located and you can reach town (Épernay, Reims, Champillion) & the vineyards easily & quickly by car. We used a rented a car and there was ample (free) parking. The hotel is beautiful decorated, neat & exceptionally clean. Everything was provided for in our room. The hotel runs more as self service, with no staff after 8pm. This did not have a negative for our stay. Everything was communicated clearly, including how to access our room for late check in. Value for money (one of the more affordable hotels we’ve stayed at).

    Easy to get to Epernay by train from Gare de L'Est in Paris. Good choice of champagne houses to walk to, without need for a car, but you need to book your visits. Helpful tourist board. Le Sardaignes restaurant, good choice of food.

    Epernay is all about the champagne.

    Epernay is all about the champagne. Our visit included Sunday and Monday evenings and as a result we found it very difficult to book a decent restaurant due to many closing on those days. We would visit again but maybe towards the end of the week.

    A compact town centre with many restaurants and tabacs.

    A compact town centre with many restaurants and tabacs. Lots of shops and two large supermarkets within five minutes drive. Surrounding countryside absolutely stunning, and numerous locations and opportunities for Champagne tasting and purchasing. Traffic-free roads an absolute delight. We will definitely be back.

    The town of Epernay was easy to walk around and we found everything that we needed. Visiting the Avenue de Champagne was impressive, informative and very enjoyable. Restaurants: La Grillade du Gormande was our best meal during our visit. We also enjoyed Le Cave a Champagne.

    This is a lovely town.

    This is a lovely town. It's obviously famous as being one of the main centres for Champagne but there is plenty else to see in the town on a shorter stay and in the surrounding area if you want to stay for longer as we did. The most popular restaurants get booked up so planning in advance is advised although we found enough with availability whilst we were there.

    A busy work a day town that has champagne at its heart. It is not scenic in a French way but nonetheless less it was an interesting place to spend a day and a half. It rained heavily so we toured the champagne route in the car but as It was a Sunday nowhere was open. We had a champagne tour on the Monday at Charles Mignon. There were a variety of restaurants of differing standards.

    Very comfortable bed and bed linen, excellent air con (best I’ve had in France or UK to date!). Staff were very friendly and tried hard to accommodate - they let me take a drinking glass and knife up to my room and even lent me a kettle on the last night so I could have a cup of tea in my room (but then realised I had no milk!). Coffee machine in the room was great.

    This exceeded my expectations. If I come back to Epernay I will try to stay here. Expensive yes but was worth it imo. Service I loved it. I stay probably 75 to 100 nights a year in hotels (standard 4 stars generally), this is classed as 3 star I think but give me something like this over a standard 3-4 star hotel anyday.

    Lovely ground floor apartment in terraced house in Epernay. Very clean comfortable and well equipped. There are two bikes to use to get around and we cycled to the champagne houses nearby. Plenty of parking on the street outside and a very helpful and responsive host.
