The host could not have been more accommodating…arranging dinner at a local restaurant when we arrived, advice on getting to Mont St Michel and providing a lovely breakfast. We arrived on a cold and rainy afternoon and it was just so nice to be able to get a hot shower and a truly comfortable bed - the room is simply furnished but the bed and bedding are really wonderful. Breakfast was a feast of fresh local produce, boiled eggs, croissants, jam, hams and cheeses, fresh bread, crepes, yoghurts and excellent coffee.
