The area is very pretty. We had a room with a balcony which was very comfortable and we slept well in the large bed with crisp linen. The view from the balcony was amazing as was the food. Every bit of food we had was delicious and would not be out of place in a top London Restaurant. The whole experience was very special. The nearby town of Espilate was worth a visit. There is a Chilli farm where you can enjoy a tasting and buy local produce. The staff are very approachable and friendly.

We loved the village in this beautiful area and the atmosphere of this little hotel was great. The owner is passionate about caring for his guests and he had plenty of time to chat with everyone, providing local knowledge and useful recommendations. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Even our dog felt at home!

    A lovely little village that came to life during the night market. so many places are accessible nearby including excellent whitewater rafting, a great lake with a beach and an easy drive to Biarritz and St Jean de Luz.

    Lovely small town, spread out over the side of a series of mountains. Very Basque/French. Plenty of opportunity to have either a short stroll or some serious walking. The views of the mountains are excellent and definitely an out door activity place to stay. Very historic church opposite Hotel Du Chen, listen out for the bells!!
