When we booked this venue we were hoping for a quiet and comfortable stay. Le Petit Chateau exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The meals were great, providing us with a great experience of regional foods and wine. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The room is spacious and comfortable. This was in many ways the best accommodation we have experienced over 3 weeks travelling around France. Thanks to Wilfred and Valerie.

The hotel was very nice , large rooms , very trendy design. You could hear only the river nearby and I slept with open windows and fresh air. As I was there I went for diner not at the hotel but at the nearby relais château with same owner and 2 stars Michelin. Was a fantastic experience with a place you can dream of. I was very busy since then so had no time to write the review and tonight I learned with great sadness that the chef and owner had passed away. So sad but he created somehow in the middle of nowhere a dream place. Let’s hope the team and his widow continue to carry the flag to this level!

    The hotel phoned me the midmorning to tell me that the restaurant was closed and I was the only quest! They transfered my booking to their other hotel in the village which was decidedly down market. The restaurant was mediocre and the wine list boring. They then when presenting my bill forgot that I had already paid for their other hotel. Not good
