    This may be the "family spot" of the Cote d"Azur. There were lots of families with children, ranging from infants to teens. Plenty of couples as well, ranging from twenty-somethings to octogenarians. Lots of stores, restaurants, and scenery all with a very classy feel. The beach is the main attraction, and the water is clear, and cool. The nearly constant breeze and cool water provide relief from the fairly intense sun.

    Le Lavandou itself has a fantastic atmosphere, with dozens of restaurants to choose from and a vibrant nightlife that added a special touch to our ten-day vacation. In the final days of our stay, the town organized two live concerts on the main beach near the port. The first concert featured the Italian singer Zucchero, and the second showcased Alberto Tuzzi, both of which were incredible and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip.

    Lavandou is a small village in the Côte d'Azur in France, it is small but very nice. There are variety of restaurants and you can find some fast foods and brasserie offering sandwiches. As the village is small, it is really easy to walk around and do everything by walking. The centre of the village is obviously the most entertaining place. Also the best beach is in the centre of the village, where you can take chairs and beach umbrellas for free if available when you'll arrive at the beach.

    We didn't have a car so wanted somewhere lively enough to hold us for a week. We didn't know Le Lavandou but were very pleased with our choice. It has a lovely central beach with good facilities and an even better beach at St Claire was just a fifteen minute walk away. Le Lavandou has an excellent range of very good restaurants and cafes. The prices are very reasonable. We particularly liked the outstanding La Petite Cantine. We will certainly go back. Two things to bear in mind - public transport is very poor so without a car it would be difficult to go outside Le Lavandou. Like most of the Riviera it could be pretty hellish during July and August - everywhere crowded and congested. We went in June which was lovely and the locals said it's even better in September.

    Le Lavandou is a beautiful town.

    Le Lavandou is a beautiful town. We stayed here because we were attending a wedding. We were so glad we did, as the whole place is charming, easy to get around and has plenty of restaurants, shops and services to make our stay really lovely. We will come back in the future as it really is an amazing place.

    Good sized sea front town.

    Good sized sea front town. Good access to main areas of town and parking. When we were there it was just end of season and not too busy. Also we had fantastic weather. More to do than we had time for, would like to come back and explore the area a bit more.

    We had a fantastic stay in Roc Hotel. We booked a room with "garden view" which turned out to be our own small private garden with table & chairs and two sun loungers. We were absolutely thrilled. The beds were super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. There's a communal terrace with fantastic sea views and a bar overlooking the private beach and the hotel also has free parking. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel and will definitely return.

    A very pleasant stay in a lovely Provencal hotel with character. The proprietors were particularly welcoming and on call for everything needed. The room was really clean and nice with a good balcony and outlook to the sea. It was within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. Parking was secure and onsite. Breakfast was good and we could sit either inside or in the pretty garden area.

    It was by far the best apartment which I have had with my family in Le Lavandou, for this price-performance-ratio. Everything you need is there : it is a fully equipped, lovingly furnished apartment. The centre is 10 min by feet, the children playgroung just 5 minutes, the sea also less than 10 min.
