There was an extremely high cost to use the pool and spa.
There was an extremely high cost to use the pool and spa. This was not evident when booking. Also a ridiculously $$$ amount for vandalism tax which is refundable but an extreme measure since the hotel is not even in the city of Avignon. But still there is a city tax. Full marks to the receptionist who kindly upgraded us to what I assume is one of their best rooms and which was located on the ground floor towards the inner courtyard. This had the added advantage that we could park right in front of our room. This room was much more spacious and even had a couch. The room had electric shutters which created a total black out.
