    Les Gets is a beautiful alpine village in Haute Savoie.

    Les Gets is a beautiful alpine village in Haute Savoie. There are many activities for families; The Wibit water park on the lake, the all-year toboggan run, trampolines, not speaking of the great mtb/downhill trails. Highly recommend choosing an accomodation that offers the Multipass; you can access many activities for free or with a discount :)

    It's a brilliant option for families and learner skiers with lots of easy slopes suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers. The village is very authetic and quaint with a reat choice of restaurants, cafes, ski hire shops and a little supermarket. The close proximity to Geneva is such a selling point for us as we can hire a car and rive in just over an hour to the village.

    Les Gets was a larger town than I expected, lots of ski shops and quality dining options. Best to book somewhere for the first nights as most places were busy. Lots of ski shops and fashion...not a cheap option in sight. Good irish bar.

    We were staying in between seasons, scouting places for returning to ski in winter. Les Gets seems to be perfectly set for skiing. It is part of the much larger ski area called Portes de Soleil, with lots of lifst, trails, and varying terrain. We can't comment on the skiing yet, but we will definitely be back in Les Gets to ski as soon as we can (or as soon as the snow comes :-). Les Gets has all the infrastructure of a modern ski resort, with lost of accommodations, rental shops, ski schools, etc. And yet it feels compact, easy to walk around, safe, and overall wecoming and friendly

    I like the short transfer from Geneva Airport.

    I like the short transfer from Geneva Airport. It’s a small Village, nice restaurants and cafés good variety of ski hire shops easy walking distance to main lifts in the village. Le Tyrol was our favourite restaurant, important to book. We have been going for over 12 years and found a lot of places have closed and been replaced by new developments which we feel has taken away from the quaint area it was.

    Les Gets is a thriving ski town in the Alps located close to Morzine. There is plenty to do and see in both the winter and the summer. It is clean, safe and friendly. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. It is easy to food shop for great French produce and cook and dine at home. Alot of new building in recent years is nearing completion. It seems that there will be plenty of places to rent or own as a first or second home.

    With stunning views right in the heart of les gets and all it has to offer it is impossible not to highly rate this property. Modern, clean, stylish decor with a lift which was handy when travelling with little children and or heavy items. Very well equipped. Beautiful hot tub with stunning views over the mountains. We have been skiing here and now mountain biking in the summer. I can’t recommend enough.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Virolet. Jen and Craig were fantastic hosts both in terms of their hospitality and knowledge of events/attractions in Les Gets and the surrounding resorts. Great location, well appointed chalet, good sized family suite, excellent breakfasts and very comfortable beds. Secure garage facilities for bikes and kit. Highly recommended.

    This is a beautiful hotel with great facilities and very handy location to Les Gets village. Our upgraded room was very clean and comfortable and decorated beautifully in a modern, yet alpine fashion. The pool was excellent too. We'd definitely stay again.
