The location was super convenient for visiting all of the Normandy WWII sites. The house was large enough for the family and comfortable. Two full bathrooms made showers easier. The kitchen was fully furnished and had plenty of dishes to use.

If I could give this hotel 6 stars out of 5, I would! It was wonderful. The room (suite) was enormous. It had large windows on all sides overlooking the beautiful estate. The renovations were recent and extremely well done. The bathroom was large, clean, and with fantastic water pressure. Great shower! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. There were massage and spa facilities, so I wished we had stayed longer. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The location was stunning, a few kilometres from Bayeux in a tiny village on a country property, that you could walk around. I absolutely loved this hotel and hope that I will be able to visit again.

We stayed in the main building and loved it, it has so much charm about it but the best part where the staff so helpful and always smiling and happy. The breakfast is wonderful. The location is great a very short walk to everything in town and only a short drive to the beaches of D Day.

    The Batterie de Longues-sur-Mer was only 5 minutes by car and Bayeaux 15 minutes. D-Day beaches close by as well. Arromanches musee du debarquement very close and a real highlight. Restaurants available in the next town Port-en-Bessin-Huppain.

    Great location for seeing all of the DDay beaches.

    Great location for seeing all of the DDay beaches. Just 5 miles from Bayeux which is a must to visit. There are lots of cycle routes, walks, and bunkers to see in Longues-sur-Mer itself. There is one local shop for essentials but for a full shop you will need a car. We visited at the end of August and it was very quiet so there was no problem finding places to park (all free!) and eat. Obviously visiting around June 6th would be like a different world but I'm sure the atmosphere and sense of occasion is worth it.

    Valerie made us feel very welcome and is a super host ..great location to visit Longues-sur-mer battery and Bayeux really enjoyed our brief stay but will definitely return
