Well, what an absolutely amazing experience. The accommodation was just fabulous and we were treated like royalty by Anne our fantastic hostess. The room, dining and recreational areas and surrounding grounds were simply breathtaking. We will treasure so many great memories of our stay here. Beautiful castle nested in a cute village next to la Loire. There’s a lot to do and discover. The staff was incredible. Fantastic breakfast and service. We got some amazing recommendations by the team from the best wine in the region to great restaurants. truly one of our best trip with my other half. Thanks again to the staff!!

The decor and amazing attention to detail. Lots of antique furnishing. I stepped back in time. The staff also dressed in period costumes. Simply so elegant. The food was amazing and spa treatment was so relaxing. I wanted to be Marie Antoinette for the day: makeup, hair and dresser and photography and they arranged the whole experience so well. Thank you. Will be back to try out the other rooms. Such a tranquil place.

Le Manoir Saint Thomas is a hidden precious gem of Amboise. It has a prime position to the centre of Amboise chateau, restaurants, shopping and the Loire river. The rooms are clean and have been beautifully and authentically restored, it has a secluded pool and garden and is serviced by the most wonderful of people who made our visit a memorable and delightful experience. Wonderful small hotel with charm in the centre of the village. Parking just behind, and a restaurant which was amazing. We did not expect the service and quality for a 3star establishment, so CHAPEAU! I wish that there were more of these in France to compete against the giants of ACCOR etc. The room was very ok and a huge bathroom! The Crepes Suzettes were the best I've ever had...merci!

This was our second stay at this hotel, we returned with family as loved the first visit so much! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had with the balconies were superb for sitting out on in the lovely sun with a glass of wine! I just can’t praise the food enough here at the restaurant…..it’s the best restaurant in a hotel I have ever come across. Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return to the Loire Valley soon.
