The service and generosity of the hotel were exceptional — multiple staff knew my name and room number off by heart and they were always extremely courteous and helpful. We were gifted many items to use and keep, including pyjamas, eye masks, a hat, and tote bag, even though we were only staying for one night. The toiletries were extremely high quality and the minibar was completely free and refillable. We were gifted a gorgeous fan and a beautiful embossed card for turndown service (as a designer, I can see how much time, care, and resources they've put into all these items), and when we departed, we received a customised luggage tag each, water, laduree mararons, stickers, and even wet wipes for the trip home. I had told the hotel we were celebrating my mum's birthday, and they had prepared a small cake for her. We booked dinner at the main restaurant, La Table de la Bastide, and even though we didn't notify them about the birthday, they knew and prepared a candle on a dessert for her. We've stayed at many luxury hotels before, but nowhere else have we been able to experience this kind of attention to detail. The food we had at La Table was fantastic. The staff do a wonderful job of separating children from the adult crowd (including having multiple pools for this reason). The main pool is beautiful, the towels powder-soft and cushiony. There was a photographer on site who took photos of guests. I could not recommend Airelles La Bastide, and the other hotels under the Airelles brand, more.

    Maubec is a small, residential town in the middle of other famous towns such as Oppede, Menerbes, Cavaillon that have more to offer in terms of tourism. The old town is tiny and charming, in the centre of town is a great park with recreation facilities from very young to rugby. It is a great pit stop on a bicycling tour. Maubec has a handful of nice restaurants - the best in the region by far being La Bergerie, outdoing some better known venues in the area in our opinion.

    Great location - Maubec is centrally located to visit several of the small mountain towns in the Provence/Luberon area. We were able to visit Avignon, Gordes, Roussillon, Menerbes, Lacoste, Oppede, Loumarin, St Remy and Aix! The house had 4 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and several outdoor areas for hanging out and eating. Perfect for our party of 4. Private parking and quiet, too!

    Great base to start and end cycle tour of Luberon and with space to leave car. Really friendly and helpful owner and staff and very accommodating. Stayed one night in Roulette (fun / different) and one night in hotel.

    Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Our stay really made us like we were spending holidays in a secondary home. And on top of it, Maubec is a little Lubéron on its own.
