Very close to Meaudre, arrived after an amazing drive through the Gorge de Bourne - stunning! Lovely owner who spent ages chatting to us about the area. Good sized room, very comfy beds and bedding. Great shower. Our children loved being able to play pool (no charge) while we we enjoyed a drink from the bar. Comments in previous reviews about carpets decor etc are unfair - this is a traditional style accommodation that is kept impeccably clean and provides great value.

the very warm welcome and pre arrival correspondence. The diner was incredible, we never expected to have such exiting and excellent food up in a small ski station. Good selection of wine but it was the menu (and this was apparently a quiet night so limited choice of (only!!) 3 for each course, starter, main and desert) - we were both blown away by the food and actually unable to eat it all, shouldn't have pigged out on the apero and nibbles before hand. great setting, view and location, looking out on what would be pistes, good doors to the balcony, locking out cold and noise (unusual in even the most expensive ski resort hotels). The setting is idyllic. The on the mountain range is postcard perfect. The rooms are spacious the bathroom perfectly equipped. The hosts are super nice and will help you get familiar with walks, restaurants, things to do. Villard de Lans is exactly what you would expect from a mountain village. Hope we can go again.

    Amazing view from garden over the plateau de Vercors. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've found it here! Room spacious and light. "Sabot de Venus" restaurant in Meaudre welcoming, very good menu. About 3km from gîte.

    Cosy hotel in a very quiet location near the beautiful Vercors and one step away from Gorges de la Bourne. Big, cozy room with comfortable bed and a balcony. Very friendly and helpful owners. It won’t be my last stay here.
