An interesting castle with a museum that we didn’t have the...
An interesting castle with a museum that we didn’t have the time to visit. There’s also connections with Joan of Arc in the town. A lovely town but it looks as though it has suffered in the recent economic downturn. They really need some more tourists to help the businesses pick up. It’s well worth it though. Would be great for cyclists too as the voie vert that goes along the Berry Canal goes past the hotel.Guest review byJudithUnited Kingdom

The rooms are comfortable, with good quality beds and a well-equipped bathroom. Very quiet at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and make you feel welcome in a personal way. A simple, but good breakfast in the morning can be enjoyed at the terrace in case of nice weather. Super friendly hotel team who spoke very good English. They even made a restaurant suggestion and booked a table for me (Le Petit Charles, very good) Bedroom and bathroom were a good size. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was great. Breakfast had a great selection. The hotel team even suggested I put my motorcycle in the garage just for peace of mind. The hosts were welcoming, the room spacious and well equipped. There is a car park just next to the hotel.
