Very well appointed accomodation in a well-cared for setting. A peaceful rural location yet only a few minutes drive / short cycle ride to Grancamp Maisy. A delicious breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens kept at the property. Warm swimming pool with sun loungers was an added bonus.

Beautiful property with lovely rustic design ( little French haven). The apartment is super clean and equipped in everything you need for a home away experience.Very quiet street and super comfy beds guarantee a good night’s sleep. The house is much bigger and better than the pictures. Big Carrefour supermarket 1 minut walk away! Secure car park and nice small garden. We loved it here and will recommend it to anyone! Thanks to the owner - a lovely and kind lady with great English!

Our stay at the Moulin was out of this world. Aurélie and David did a stunning job with the renovation of the Moulin. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, with a very comfy bed and bathroom. The convivial rooms and garden are beautiful too, we spent a few peaceful hours sipping wine on the loungers in the wonderful garden. What makes this place even more special is the kindness of Aurélie and David. They made us feel so welcome and at home, even before we set foot in the Moulin. Aurélie reached out to us with the offer of cooking us dinner and went out of her way to prepare some vegetarian meals. Both breakfast and dinner were the best meals we have had during our entire stay in France. We don't often stay at B&B's, we usualy opt for boutique hotels, but our stay here really was right up there with the best hotels while adding a very friendly and personal note!

Beautiful traditional house in a lovely village very close to the D-day beaches. The Host was very friendly and helpful with great communication and very flexible with regards check in time. Modern kitchen and bathroom in a beautiful stone house.

    The immediate location is rural and a bit remote, with the nearest shops/restaurant in Isigny-sur-Mer, ca 5 km (8 min by car) away. A car is a must, although there is a bust stop near the house, and bicycles might actually do. Not sure about the bus schedule. There is a beautiful view over the Marais from the church on the top of the hill behind the house, and the immediate surroundings are nice for runs, walks, cycling. The location is reasonably central, behind Omaha Beach for visiting the many D-Day sights, none are more than at most ca 40 min away. Bayeux (Bayeux Tapestry, Cathedral!) is 30 min, Mt St Michel ca 1h30min. So it is a good base for exploration of many interesting things. At night, the night sky is breathtaking. It's a long time ago that I have enjoyed such a beautiful starry night sky, with Orion just outside the front door. Rural darkness, without light pollution has its upsides.

    We had a wonderful stay.

    We had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, nestled in the countryside with cows and goats and sheep and chickens…. The host was very attentive and responsive. He even had a little treats basket waiting for us! The property is gorgeous and we really enjoyed the hammocks. Big grocery store only about 10 minutes away in Isigny sur Mer. Location is very convenient for all the World War II sites.
