Best place in Via Lattea for ski beginners, plenty of short and long green pistes. Great ski school instructors. But not very charming and lack of entertainment options for adults and kids. Restaurants are just ok. No real food options after 3pm, bad for skiers especially those doing ski lessons at lunchtime. Ice skating venue was not operating which is bad during ski season. Wonderful ski resort, plenty of green and blue runs for beginners, with a great ski school. For the more advanced plenty of red and black runs with the choice to ski over to Italy. Monginevro, in my opinion, has 2 faces: winter and summer seasons. I was never here during winter, but I believe that is the heart of the tourism season there... Regarding summer activities, there are nice trails and the "Monty" luge, a must for kids and not only. In the mean time, I believe there is space for improvement: in fact there are many indications for bike tours, etc, but not many info for walk excursions... Trails are not well indicated (if they are indicated) not only during the paths, but not even, for instance, at the end of the lifts. Moreover, in my case at least, there is no number to identify a trail of there is a number but with no info about what this number codes for. Other than that, the surrounding areas are very nice even if, given the height (1850m), the tree line is very narrow.Guest review bymarcoItaly - 6.0

Great ski town for beginners through to advanced.
Great ski town for beginners through to advanced. My 17 year old daughter noted the lack of apres ski for her age group, and I noted the lack of open fires to warm feet at when coming off the slopes. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day—all of which were traditional French foods. The Chef was very accommodating to my Vegan partner and made separate dishes for her. The staff across the whole hotel were exceptional and very friendly. The location is the location—it's a 5-minute walk to the slopes, but we booked knowing that.
