The hosts were very friendly and charming and made us feel very welcome. The house and gardens are beautiful and we had an excellent breakfast in a lovely arbor. Cooling our feet in the cool water of the swimming pool felt heavenly after an 8 hour drive. And finally, we slept very well as it was so quiet and peaceful.

Location is great to access Chateau de Chambord. Restaurant is large and clean, the room is a bit small but very clean. The overall area of the hotel is larger than I thought which is a bonus. Beautiful old chateau on banks of Loire River. A faded charm. Same family since 1783. Highly recommended. Quiet location, near Chateua de Chambord. No in house restaurant as isn’t an hotel, but good restaurants near by. Excellent breakfast taken in the frescoed dining room. Lovely.

Lovely small hotel on the edge of town in a residential area but only 10 minutes from Chateau Chambord, the reason for our stay. Staff very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace and a big choice of good quality. Room on the smaller size but good bathroom with large walk-in shower. Would recommend.

- Nice room - Perfectly soundproofed (I'm a light sleeper and in other hotels often woken up by sounds from the corridor or doors slamming, but in this hotel even when awake didn't hear a sound) - Drinking water fountain in the lobby (they lend free bottle during your stay) - Decent breakfast

Location close to the castle, 10 min max with GPS. Modern hotel. Good sound isolation. Good AC. Rooms are modern. No light in the room if you close the shades. Breakfast with local food. Good management. Small restaurants around

The owner and staff were extremely welcoming! The hotel is small but immaculately maintained and rooms really well set up. Our 9 year old loved the pool too! Great base for cycling to Chambord.
