Clean room, very kind staff, we had both dinner and breakfast and it was delicious, wellness with sauna and steam was also awesome. No AC but it's in the mountains - open window during the night was enough. Free public parking just across the street. Great pleace to unwind when on the road.

We really felt at home at Sonia's place. She gave us a great welcome and tour. You can tell she sees her property and her service as a reflection of herself. The house was warm and comfortable when we arrived, which is much appreciated. The house and property had plenty of space, a place for everyone in our family of seven. Everything was quite clean and neat. The kitchen was very well outfitted. Even though it was cool and wet for much of our time, we were still able to enjoy the backyard and barbecue. The outdoor space would be a great place in the warmer months. The location is good, close to a bus stop but just far enough away from the center of town to be quite peaceful. A good bakery and other shops (including a chocolatier) are within a reasonable walk; supermarkets are a little further than I like but still very walkable. There is a walled public greenspace with a playground and soccer goals just east of the property. And it's an easy hike up to the top of the cliff overlooking the town, even with a stroller; it makes for a good afternoon walk for the whole family. Ornans is a pretty town; the way it is situated along the river just makes you want to stop on the footbridge and take it all in as the water sweeps past below. From the layout, decor and location to the amenities and service, this house just feels good. Don't hesitate. Highly recommended.

Great location on the river. Short walk to restaurants and lovely walks. Pool and hot tub were great, as was the property itself. I would highly recommend.

A very good, large, comfortable apartment in a central location, very quiet and with view to the river. The place is well equipped, with plenty of space and rooms for everything. Nicely decorated, welcoming, and relaxing environment. The host was friendly, good communicator, and responsive. We slept beautifully. Wonderful stay.

A beautiful location, and a very interesting ‘barn conversion’ development in the countryside which is already very lovely and will be stunning when completely finished. Very tastefully designed and decorated with some lovely, luxurious touches - e.g. jacuzzis for certain rooms.

    A cute little French village with lovely walks, several amazing bakeries and a to-die-for cheese shop. See the cathedral at night. The river is just lovely, very lazy and clean. Grocery stores and good restaurants are all in walking distance.

    The hotel is very close to the main square (place Courbet) without being affected rhe busy-ness of the square. Our room (11) was very quiet with regard to outside noise (although there was some sound from the next floor up). Breakfast was good value for the money (€9); however, some real muesli as well as corkflakes and that other sugary cereal would have been nice.
