The village is a bit far from everything so you have to drive around. Two beautiful beaches within 20 minutes. My favourite place on Ile de Ré actually is Ars-en-Ré, a lovely quaint village with its whitewashed streets, its unique church, cascading flowers (jasmine!) everywhere, charming shops (cheaper and not as touristy as in Saint-Martin) and nice restaurants.Guest review bycatherineFrance - 10.0

I loved our little room right off an indoor garden and steps away from the patio for breakfast. The personal we’re excellent and so friendly and helpful. We had an excellent fan in our room as there was no air conditioning built in. Bathroom was well equipped and a good size. Separate loo was helpful. Bed was comfortable and large.
