The location is idyllic . Beautiful and tranquil. Staff are charming and very considerate. We had one stop with two dogs travelling to Spain. Next time we will stay longer .

The building is so unusual and beautiful, very atmospheric, and although a little more upgrading is needed in places (eg. walls of the main stone staircase) this is clearly in progress. Our room was wonderful - spacious, well equipped, everything about it was top quality and very stylish. And it had amazing views! The restaurant is delightful and our dinner was first class. There is clearly a really good chef, and the waiting staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgable.

A really excellent little room, comfortable and clean with lovely attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the old town. Annick was extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. The breakfast, partly homemade, was a lovely feature. It also made a big difference to have a private off-road car parking space. All in all, highly recommended.

A very quirky house and much bigger than expected. Very tastefully decorated, very clean and very comfortable. There was everything you could need and more in the house. A big bonus to find ice cubes in the freezer - you can enjoy a chilled drink straight away. We loved the location being in the centre of Saint Flour so close to the restaurants and shops. Annick was a very friendly and informative host. We will definitely book again on our travels to and from the south but will arrive early to enjoy the beautiful village and restaurants before checking in.

    Very picturesque town plenty of bars and restaurants. Easy to walk around. Scenic riverside walk. If you are feeling energetic enough you can attempt the steep walk to the top of the old part of Saint-Flour (we made it halfway up could not complete the walk as we had a restaurant booked. Will complete the walk on our next visit.

    Location in the centre of St Flour is great, with secure parking available. Whilst the decor is dated, the rooms are of a good size with en-suite facilities and are kept nice and clean. Beds was found to be particularly comfortable. Staff are friendly. The area around the hotel has many other restaurants, bars and shops. We've only ever had rooms out the back, not overlooking the front so are probably quieter rooms.

    The short notice booking was efficient. The young lady who seemed to do everything was totally on the ball. The breakfast was classic continental and from 6.30 to 9.30 and the best thing was Thatthe hotel was only 2km from the main road and clearly signed. An essential hotel in a great location. Thanks to the staff.

    The restaurant is closed Monday evening with little choice available locally, the bar however, is open, pity they don't serve bar snacks. The area is very pleasant with a shallow river and a good towpath behind the hotel, parking is ok and they allow dogs in the restaurant for breakfast, which was quite nice.

    The hotel was in a great location and was furnished in keeping with its age and style. The host was charming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, regional, and accommodating of my wife's gluten and dairy intolerance.
