    St. Galmier is a - what I would consider - hidden gem. Because the source of Badoit is there, this small city has always been fairly rich and is therefore well kept. Go to the Badoit factory, if only to get your free water directly from the source. The hotel has a Michelin Star restaurant and the food in the bistro seems to be inspired by that.

    The hotel is a lovely, very comfortable place with very friendly and helpful proprietors. We stayed on our Camino de Santiago from Lyon and when we needed a little extra help they could not have been more kind! We would certainly stay again.
