Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection. The location was beautiful and peaceful, although getting there was a bit tricky on the narrow twisting road. This should not, however, discourage you from visiting this lovely gîte.

Dominique and Jean Luc were the perfect hosts, the rooms are lovely with a lounge area, large bathroom and very comfortable beds. The bonus was the evening meal, eaten with the family, which consisted of Filo Pastry starter followed by homemade pate, then Lamb bred by their son served with potato gratin followed by the best Roquefort cheese I have ever eaten and then roasted plumbs with sheep's milk, all washed down with a lovely bottle of Merlot and a small beer. All for thirty euro, fantastic value.

Welcoming hosts, immaculate and beautiful gite in a lovely location. All anyone could need for either a short or long stay is supplied. Although travelling with a limited mobility partner our short stay was comfortable and relaxing, Used this stop to break the journey to Spain, would have been very happy to have stayed longer 5*

Needed an overnight on our return from the Loire Valley to...

Needed an overnight on our return from the Loire Valley to the coast, so we had a day available to explore. Saint-Jean-et-Saint-Paul is worth a visit in its own right as a perfectly preserved and unspoiled village. Also on the route over the Millau viaduct and a stone's throw from Roquefort with its exceptional cheese tours. Turned out to be one of the best days on our two week trip.
