    It was perfect for an overnight stop on our way home.

    It was perfect for an overnight stop on our way home. However, the hotel let us down as we were told when we arrived we needed to pay an extra 11 euros if we both wanted a breakfast. We were asked what time we would like breakfast to be served. In the morning the hotel was locked and no breakfast to be enjoyed!

    SQ is a nice little town with some quirky touches.

    SQ is a nice little town with some quirky touches. There was a beer festival in the main square when we were there, and this part of town has a reasonably lively feel. We walked down to the river and there are some good bars and restaurants a bit further along. The Cathedral is a classic Gothic structure and has some interesting architectural details.

    We were only there for one night but the buildings are really pretty, a nice town square, catherdral and looks to be a fair few restaurants. Being near Calais most of the people we spoke to in shops / restaurants spoke English if that is a consideration.

    Nice budget hotel, rooms are clean and adequate for one or two nights stay, there are no frills, restaurant or bar with this hotel, but given there is a sports bars close by La Kavern and a very good restaurant, Restaurant Crocodile within walking distance, I would use this hotel again.

    This hotel serves the purpose of an overnight stay on route to the Channel ports but nothing more. Accommodation is basic but as expected and everything worked as it should. Restaurant menu was very basic with not much choice (only three main courses available at the time of my stay). Breakfast was better. I thought the staff could have been better dressed: casual clothes, no uniform or identification. If you're looking for luxury and fine dining, look elsewhere but , for most travellers, this hotel serves its purpose at this price. It's a chain hotel next to a retail park close to a busy road. It does what it needs to do and no more. No complaints but not much praise either.

    For an over night stop, or a couple of nights it is perfect,...

    For an over night stop, or a couple of nights it is perfect, there are shops and bars, and small streets to explore. The town is clean and very friendly. There is an emphasis to assist English speaking visitors, more so than some of the smaller villages in France, this did not distract from its uniqueness and was helpful as an overnight stop.

    The hotel is really well placed for people travelling through North East France, with plenty of free parking and local amenities nearby. It’s family friendly and well run. It is clean and well presented and the recently installed air-con is a bonus (on a day when it hit 38 degrees c!). There’s free tea, coffee and filtered water in the reception area, also great!

    comfortable hotel in centre of Saint Quentin, around 15 mins walk from main market square. Helpful staff who were supportive with bike storage and helped me with some onward travel needs. Thanks for that!
