Hit Salers on a bank holiday weekend so it was very crowded...
Hit Salers on a bank holiday weekend so it was very crowded and full of bikers and hells angels. Parking v tricky so we were lucky to be staying at La Grange just on the edge of town. Salers is quite an unspoilt medieval town with shops and restaurants. Fantastic views towards Puy Violent and Puy Mary across wonderful verdant landscape and with beautiful wildflower meadows.Guest review byHilaryUnited Kingdom

The owners were great and offered conversation and information. There was a superb collection of books and guides to the region.
