How refreshing to find a rental with everything you needed. Heating, cleanliness , sheets on the beds, towels and tea towels, cleaning products. Beds were comfortable. The owner warm and friendly. No hesitation to recommend and we will be going back.

The studio was equiped with everything you could want. Very good coffee machine. Breakfast was supllied as well. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bed was very confortable. Sound proving was very good. It is near the road but we did not hear road noise. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. Brilliant place. Definately would rent again.

Gite 2 was ground floor and all on one level with a wet room style bathroom which was super useful for my dad. By far the best equipped self catering accommodation I’ve stayed in. And there was a pool to cool off in. Babette was an absolute delight.

Quite literally everything. A beautiful property steeped in history and set in lovely surroundings. The interior is glorious. Every detail is thought of. The couple who live here have faultless taste and have created something truly special. They have cleverly managed to create a very comfortable place set in an incredibly old property. With the most wonderful juxtaposition of old and modern balanced so well. In our room, the Kings Room, the bed was so comfortable with feather pillow. So light and airy. Every detail you would require and more including a Santa Maria Novella pomegranate to create a scent. A real treat.

The gite is in a very rural location and very peaceful, with a large garden and pretty views, and just suited us for our overnight stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, as was the bathroom and our hostess had lit fairy lights to welcome our arrival.

    Thievery’s is a nice town.

    Thievery’s is a nice town. The centre is old but there are nome nice restaurants there. People are friendly, there are 2 local breweries if you like craft beer. St Jean de Cole is 10 minutes away and Brantome is just 15 mins more. Both very beautiful but much more expensive to stay in.

    The cleanliness, the room and bathroom space and the overall ambience was fabulous. The staff were very helpful and were very proactive with my requests. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this hotel in Thiviers was memorable in the all round excellent experience. The room was very tastefully furnished and the decor had kept some of the elegance of past design. An all round superb stay - I will be returning.

    Lovely little cabin on a campsite just outside of Thiviers. Clean and well presented - very good value for money. Was met in reception by the lovely Laetitia , who took us up to the cabin. We only stayed 2 nights , but would definately book again !

    location, quietness, nice and cool inside on a very hot day. Lovely pool. very hospitable host. Easy parking and secure for our bikes which were on the car as we were about to cycle La Flow Velo cycle route from Thiviers.

    Lovely hotel close to town center, fantastic mattress and pillows. Huge room and bathroom with separate multi function shower and bath with shower. Very friendly hosts and great restaurant to boot.

    Peaceful location on the outskirts of Thiviers. Very good set up with access to fridge and microwave. Very friendly owner and lovely traditional french breakfast.
