Excellent place to stay. The whole property has this homey feel to it. Rooms are spacious and very clean. It is located just a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants, bars and other amenities, yet the surrounding area is very quite.

A family run country hotel in a lovely peaceful location. The restaurant offers a home cooked, seasonal menu with local (Loire valley) wines. Comfortable rooms (if a little small), with tea/coffee and a small balcony. Good access to Peage for travel to/from Caen. Our dog was welcome (charge 12 euros) and had the run of the substantial grounds.

The hotel was a beautiful old building, with lots of original features and charming decor. The bathroom facilities and equipment in the room were modern. The location is superb, right in the heart of the town with direct access to several car parks and all the town's amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with great coffee. The hotel was spotless and all the staff were very friendly.

The two ladies who looked after us pm and am were lovely and helpful. Nice breakfast which was topped up as required. Good location for a trip to see Chinon and tbe area and to travel further south.

Fantastic position. Great value for money. Superbly helpful. This place is a 9.5 on ratings not a 7. It should not be pulled down by wifi connection. Honestly. Value for money great. First off - reception staff so helpful and friendly. It is minutes to everything. Room was perfect. Comfortable +++ bed. Newly renovated bathroom. Fabulous shower. Bikes available to ride. Highly recommend if you’re budgeting. On bookings.com it should be a 9.99

Marielle’s beautiful home is fully at the disposal of her guests. This includes a stylish living room with a very comfortable sofa and all of the outdoor space, including places to relax as well as eat. Marielle is the perfect host, very kind and generous, and her home is brilliantly situated for visiting the western end of the Loire Valley. We have no hesitation in recommending it and would love to revisit it ourselves one day.
