    The breakfast was extra and billed separately, but I would have liked to have seen a refill of the croissants and the pain-au-chocolate in the breakfast as they were exceptional ! ( they ran out during our stay ).

    The hotel was very clean and in a great location, close to everything and right near the city center. It was well-equipped, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. They also offered a luggage storage service after checkout, which was especially convenient for business travelers. I accidentally forgot some money in the drawer, and the cleaning staff found it and contacted me right away so I could come back and collect it—something I really appreciate for their honesty and professionalism.

    Perfect host, Philippe. Very welcoming, friendly, helpful, fluent English to go with his natural French. The artwork all over the hotel is both eclectic and wonderful. Delightful gardens. Dinner wasn't available, but based on the exceptional breakfast, I'm sure dinner would be equally good. Room was very spacious & comfortable.

    The apartment is very modern and cosy. It was clean and equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The area is not the nicest but within 15-20 minutes walking, the center of Valenciennes with some good restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarkets can be reached, so it is well located.

    Hotel was very nice, old fashioned looking, but perfectly clean, tidy. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was nice and big and bathroom very clean. Food was also very nice. Would stay again if in the area.

    Alice the lady at reception was excellent and helped us with some urgent bookings we had to change. Made the stay enjoyable. Nice town, quaint hotel..Really comfortable bed.
