Fortunately for us the owner of the property was there, he can communicate in English. He went out of the way to help us and make us comfortable. He along with his colleague Angelica treated us like their own. The room was like an apartment with stairs to go on top. The apartment has a kitchen, bedroom, big bathroom and living room. If you observe everything including the paint, artifacts and furniture are chosen to go with a theme. Everything has been kept with lot of emotions and love. It can be felt... The owner will come twice a day to ensure we are Good and not facing any issue. He was very kind to ensure we are taken care during the entire time of stay. He had to leave for his home a day earlier to our departure but he ensured the staff takes care of us till the time we leave. They ensured we enjoyed our stay at Nevers. They arranged taxi, made reservations for us at the local French cuisine. They also guided us to nearby grocery. We bought groceries for us and cooked at the apartment kitchen. The utensils were cleaned and kept in an organized manner. Our objective was to spend good time in France country side and trust we could enjoy each seconds of our stay. We went to local vi eyard at Saucere. It was very emotional for me to leave the place may be because we did lot of things that we planned. Vacation is all about spending quality time with family and we could achieve thanks to the host and his team. Out of the entire trip I belive the days we spent at Never was best.... We had a wonderful stay at Brit Hotel Magdalena during our trip back home. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The rooms were impressively clean and spacious, with beds that were both comfortable and spotlessly clean. In terms of value for money, I would rate it a solid 10 out of 10. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast they offered. There was an abundance of tasty options, all sourced from local farmers. It was a delightful culinary experience that added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. I highly recommend Brit Hotel Magdalena for a restful and enjoyable stay.

Nice room, really lovely hosts, they even picked us up from the pub after a storm so we wouldn’t get drenched walking back. Lots of great info about the town. Very quiet location, secure parking and the pool was very enjoyable after a hot day. Would highly recommend.

    Arrogant reception people

    Arrogant reception people 24 hour contact number did not work Stairs to upper rooms need a deep clean Electronic pass key failed twice, told I was putting in close to mobile phone or credit cards total rubbish. My friend was given a key rather than a pass card this key opened other peoples rooms, security??? No walk in shower rooms in any rooms, although disabled parking and ramp. Tatty needs a total revamp.

    This is a basic hotel in a convenient location, quiet and with safe parking. The bed was comfy, the shower was good, and breakfast was adequate. It is just off the motorway, in a light industrial area, but walk five minutes along the main road towards Nevers and there is a large and very good family Italian restaurant.
