A small but lovely town famous for its copper ware.
A small but lovely town famous for its copper ware. We bought our set of pots here many years ago and stayed with our young children. The Hotel-restaurant must be the best place here; well patronised all day long; most accommodating, very busy, very good atmosphere. Villedieu is a nice little town, very clean and lovely flowers planted everywhere, pretty river too. Some excellent restaurants and boulangeries. Leonie's creperie is excellent, we ate there three times. A large Casino supermarket which I found interesting is just outside town. We were travelling on business and ended up checking in at 10pm. this was not a problem. We asked for 2 small whiskeys as the day had been exhausting having been travelling since 1am that day and they brought them to us without delay.
