We stayed in the Vulcan room which was extremely well appointed with dual aspect views over the harbour. The room itself was very stylish with copper bathtub in the room and all mod cons. The bed was super comfortable and it was very relaxing to hear the water lapping outside. Breakfast was served in the Hive opposite, a light airy room, and provided a very good choice including fresh fruit salad and many cooked options. It was a nice touch to be given a token for a honey ice cream, served from the annexe to the Hive. All staff were attentive and very friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Lovely rooms, very comfortable with a lovely terrace at the back. Great food in the bistro, will definately stay here again. Ideal for us as our family have a place nearly.

The location, it was ideal for walking from the cottage to the coast, National Trust property and the centre of Aberaeron. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and cosy. Highly recommended.

    A lovely little place which was beautiful even with the...

    A lovely little place which was beautiful even with the harbour renovations in progress. Everyone was very friendly. You felt that it was still a community with lots of people speaking Welsh. That really added to our experience. We ate at The Harbour Master and Y Seler both excellent. Narrow roads were managed well considering the nature of the layout of the town and this added to its charm.

    Lively little town.

    Lively little town. Many of the houses are painted in 'icecream' colours. The only downside when I was there was that they had closed off the harbour for major flood construction work so yiu couldn't walk around it. The riverside walk is lovely. Llanerachion House is 4 miles away which is worth a few hours visit.

    Lovely Welsh town with harbour.

    Lovely Welsh town with harbour. Friendly people , plenty of pubs and cafe eateries. Not too much to do in town but some great walks available. Harbourmaster hotel , fab food, staff and really comfortable .

    Been coming to Aberaeron for over 40yrs , family had a static caravan on Aeron coast caravan park , absolutely beautiful town / village is Aberaeron , lovely harbour , lots of amenities , restaurants and pubs always sad to leave when it’s time to go home

    Wonderful variety of excellent restaurants locally - the Harbourmaster Hotel ; Y Seler and The Hive in particular - friendly helpful people wherever you go. Very lovely place to stay which is also a good base for exploring further afield. Lovely coastal walks nearby.

    A lively pretty town, has a good atmosphere, nice array of shops, cafes and restaurants, with excellent food options and quality. Lovely beach walks all along coasts, beach stoney but still good to walk on.

    Having visited Aberaeron many times and stayed at different hotels this is by far the best. Would not stay anywhere else. The staff are all lovely, and I recognise many of them which suggests a good place to work. Breakfast is always lovely, restaurant is fantastic too. It’s not a big place, rooms are relatively small but very smart and comfortable. Beds and pillows are great too (for me) The hotel bar is always lively so don’t go to bed before 11. My review is obviously subjective but I genuinely do like this hotel very much.

    A wonderful place to stay for our long weekend in Aberaeron. Very easy to find on the way in from Lampeter, and a pleasant 10 min walk down to the harbour area for our evening meals out. The room was excellent. Everything was in great condition and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty, and set us up for our days exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
