The staff were all very welcoming, they made the stay with our dog really easy. The food was simple and home cooked, delicious. The rooms were spotless and the bathroom was modern and clean.

Great stay with the pub and the restaurant just under the rooms. Incredibly clean from the corridor carpet to the room itself. The bathroom was wonderfull. We had a warm and relaxing stay. Restaurant and pub are fine too.

The property was just lovely! So spacious and pretty, the bath was fabulously. And dog friendly which was a big plus for us. The owners has a pub right next door and he kindly invited us in for a bite to eat which was also delicious and good value.

I had a fabulous stay at this lodge which is truly stunning and very comfortable especially the bed which was so cosy . It is probably the best equipped self catering accomodation i have ever stayed in with all the mod cons and equipment that you would need. I was privileged to be the first guest to stay in this new Lodge and was greeted with a wonderful welcome pack which was a lovely surprise. There are beautiful views from the Lodge and its location is well placed for easy access to both Carlisle and Penrith. The site is on the 104 bus route which has a regular service from Carlisle to Penrith and Center Parks. I felt so at home in the Lodge and didnt want to leave, it really was my happy place at a time when i really needed it. Thank you Steve and Susanna you are amazing hosts.

Our stay was amazing from beginning to end. Finding a bottle of prosecco and a shepherds pie on arrival was the perfect start to a wonderful weekend. The hot tub was very private and the views were stunning. Couldn't have asked for a more romantic stay.
