    We had such a wonderful stay, when we arrived the hosts had lit a fire for us and everything was even more lovely than the photos! They’d left us a range of biscuits, and plenty tea/coffee etc The bed was like a hotel with a lovely arranged blanket and chocolates. Everything was so clean and the owners went above and beyond to meet our needs - they even provided a cosy dog bed which our dogs loved!! Gorgeous views of the horses. Fire pit outside. We could go on and on about how great it is!

    We liked the look of the building, nice garden and local walk for the dog. The public areas were nice, the evening meal very nice and the breakfast just ok. One young female employee seemed to be everywhere, reception, bar, serving evening meal and on again in the morning. She was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is dog friendly.

    Splendid very large room with 4 poster bed and lavish bathroom. Our supper and breakfast were excellent and the staff very helpful. The hotel is an architectural gem and well located for the Japanese garden at Cowden.

    Great host, very nice apartment and the town Alloa is a good base for touring south east Scotland. Plenty of free council parking next to the apartment. Tesco, Asda, Aldi are all nearby.

    Peaceful location but yet within a short walking distance to the town centre with a large Tesco's nearby. The accommodation is also very close to Alloa Tower. Very clean accommodation.
