    I myself and my husband are originally from Annesley area so...

    I myself and my husband are originally from Annesley area so we know the area very well. Situated in the ideal location for Newstead abbey which was also the home of Lord Byron, There is also the train station just down the road in Newstead which would take you into Mansfield or into our lovely City of Nottingham with lots of fabulous restaurants and bars along with fantastic array of shops & department stores. The bus stop is also right outside the B&B which will also take you into Mansfield or Nottingham. Also surrounded by the wooded area of Sherwood Forest which was also used to film the tv series Sherwood.

    It's a commercial estate built off the M1, nice singing...

    It's a commercial estate built off the M1, nice singing birds at 3am . I personally went into town for a new years eve party 🥳 please mind the potholes. Nottingham City Centre is better and I know the Premier inns there are very good definitely more 4 star ratings there.

    Some of the staff were quiet rude the room was cold heating...

    Some of the staff were quiet rude the room was cold heating noisy and didn’t really work the bed was really uncomfortable the pillows quiet flat and didn’t offer any support room was clean but looking tired carpet stained and tatty
