The building is stunning, and the additional accommodation fits in perfectly. A very well stocked bar. The moment we arrived, we were given a warm greeting and made to feel welcome. The room was exceptional, very tastefully decorated, and well supplied. The evening meal and breakfast were both tasty and plentiful , very well cooked and presented perfectly. The hotel has a lot of history and is proud of it, rightfully so. The village itself is very picturesque.

Everything was perfect. From the moment we have arrived, we had a very warm welcome from the staff. We came with the baby and in 2 or 3 occasions they prepared warm milk, no charge. Location, garden everything is perfect. Restaurant food is delicious. We had a short but great stay and would love to come again. We loved it.

    A very nice, quiet village on the outskirts of Oxford.

    A very nice, quiet village on the outskirts of Oxford. It was a perfect base for us to travel a bit further south. We didn't look around the village, but we spent Saturday visiting St. Albans, Harpingdon and Hemel Hempstead.
