The location was very central. The hotel was new. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was dark. We slept very well. We are very experienced worldwide travellers, and I would say that this is the best hotel I have stayed in for price quality in the UK (probably because it is new). Parking is found up the alley to the left of the hotel.

Lovely big room. Quiet room. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast. A great atmosphere in the pub with plenty of options for food and drink and a quieter area for people wanting to dine. Farnham is a great place. I booked the venue for a Birthday meeting and booked a table for dinner with our family guests. From arrival to departure all the staff were extremely friendly , helpful and efficient. The table was beautifully prepared, the food excellent and the service attentive and courteous. The room was spotless and had all the facilities expected (kettle, coffee maker, fridge, Tv etc) The breakfast was outstanding, buffet bar plus special orders. nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will stay there again.

The personal service was exceptional, welcoming and informative. The room was very clean, bright and situated in detached, converted barn. The car being parked right outside is really handy, with the bar, garden and restaurant just a few steps away. Overall excellent.

    The Lion Brewey was selected as it was close to Ash Railway Station and just 7 min train journey to my destination. That sadly was the only positive. The owner of the B and B was polite and will engage in conversation. The barman who I met on arrival was polite so was the cleaner who was cleaning the tables in the bar area before leaving.

    It was a good price and location for what we needed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedding was fresh and room large. A really lovely Indian restaurant opposite ! We didn't eat at the property, so cannot comment on food. The facilities were basic, the decor old fashioned, but it was cheap & friendly.
