The Gardens where beautiful and well maintained. The house was emaculate and well kept. The fridge was full of food to choose from and they kept a good watch on cleanliness. They did not force customers to leave immediately at 12 noon check out time but kept it open bearing in mind they had 3pm check in for other customers. I love the beautiful grounds of the hotel, so serene, you can go for lovely walks on the grounds, the room is so clean ad bed comfy. No traffic noise despite being situated by the road. The bathroom door in room 9 was not clean!! Rooms were not ready till 3pm as stated. However bed was comfortable and bathroom was nicely decorated. The orangie is lovely with a beautiful seating area at back. The main function room is lovely as is the garden area out back. The gardens are lovely and kept well. Staff are reasonably friendly. When booking I was asked had we stayed before and I said we got married there in 1991. On the day we arrived we were greeted with proseco and strawberries in our room. Lovely touch.
