Very good range of breakfast options (smoked haddock with perfectly poached eggs, full English, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, whole kippers, fresh fruit salad), good range of food served in the bar, where highlights included rhubarb and ginger creme brulee, sea trout and a range of pizzas, meat and vegan options. Great Irish coffee too. Excellent location for exploring Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle. Tesco's supermarket is right next door. Off-street parking. Comfortable beds. The cottage was lovely. Everything was clean and spacey. Lovely quite country side in walking distance to Bodiam Castle and train station. Also very dog-friendly! The staff was also very nice and helped us even on the Easter weekend. Thank you very much for everything! We hope to visit again!
