It is well located in relation to forest walks and other outdoor activities. For any significant shopping you needs to travel nearby Aviemore, 4.5 miles away. Boat of Garten is just a small village in the Scottish Highlands there is a nice little restaurant 50yds away which serves excellent meals and a carry out fresh made Pizza facility, there is also a nice hotel about 400m away which serves excellent meals, well situated for the Osprey viewing observatory, close to Landmark adventure park, and not far from Aviemore highland resort.Guest review byRoyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The lodge was spacious and well equipped for what we needed. It was clean and perfect for our stay. The large decking area around the lodge was also great and enclosed so we could let the dog wander around and know she couldn’t escape!
