Bowness is the busiest tourist place in the lakes.
Bowness is the busiest tourist place in the lakes. Whilst some people might not like that, it does have a multitude of places to eat, drink, wander and enjoy the vista. Please try Porta, I have been visiting the restaurant for over 30 years, it is fabulous and for me is a must visit venue. Bowness is a fabulous base to sightseeing from.
Bowness is a fabulous base to sightseeing from. It's a lovely little area of the Lake District. Very busy at times and too much traffic and not enough parking spaces.
